Natural Fruit Gummies

This recipe is fun and simple, great for getting the kids involved in the kitchen. Plus they will love these naturally sweetened gummies!

Ingredients:

300 ml apple juice
Juice of 1 lemon
25g gelatin or 7g agar agar
Natural fruit gummy ingredients

Method:

  • Stir the apple juice, lemon juice, and fruit powder in a saucepan until it is simmering.
  • Whisk in the gelatin/agar agar until it is completely dissolved, this may take around 5 minutes.
  • Fill your silicone molds and pop in the fridge to set for an hour.

Tips:

  • Use a stick mixer to get rid of any lumps.
  • Place the molds on a tray so that you can move them to the fridge easily.
  • Use an eyedropper and hold it upright when you’re filling the molds
  • Store the gummies in the fridge in a container
  • This recipe makes approximately two trays of molds, or you can pour into a tray and cut the gummies into cubes with a knife dipped in hot water.
